humedica supports the establishment of a hospital in St. Marc
St. Marc is a town located about 90 kilometres north of Port-au-Prince and it has not been hit by the earthquake of January 12, 2010. But nevertheless this small town with about 200,000 inhabitants has been directly affected by the consequences of the disaster. According to estimates, about 30,000 people have fled from Port-au-Prince to St. Marc immediately after the earthquake in order to receive medical treatment, accommodation and provisions there.
