How do different bodies cooperate in the aftermath of an emergency? Who all plays a part in the system, and whom might you meet with during an emergency deployment? It will be a mix of presentation, group work, and Q&A.
The course will be held in English to allow participants to familiarize themselves better with the English vocabulary used in international contexts.
Requirements for participation: You will be required to take the “Building a better response” – Online class, as well as other reading materials. The online class takes 20 hours to go through. The needed information as well as access to the online course will be distributed to the participants in advance with enough time to finish preparations.
Dr. Kathrin Fischer ist promovierte Anthropologin und Expertin im Bereich Zugang zu Gesundheit, Migration und Katastrophenmanagement. Seit mehr als 12 Jahren geht sie für Nichtregierungsorganisationen und internationale Organisationen weltweit in den Einsatz, sei es Haiti 2016/17, Nepal 2015/2016/2018/2019, Slowakei/Ukraine (2022), oder Gaza/Kairo (2023).
