Since a civil war broke out in Sudan in April 2023 between the Sudanese military and the so-called task forces, millions of people have been on the run. Thousands are trying to escape the terror by fleeing to Chad. Here they arrive in reception camps after having undertaken dangerous border crossings and escape routes. It is mainly women, children and elderly people who have found refuge in the Aboutengué camp. However, many of them continue to experience violence, sexual assault and exploitation not only while fleeing, but also in the emergency shelters. They suffer from trauma and live with depression and anxiety disorders. They cannot come to terms with what they have experienced, nor do they have any hope for the future.

With your donation, you enable traumatized people to regain confidence and bring back some hope. Every support helps to give the refugees in Chad a bit of dignity and a future.
