Current situation in Brazil

In the Nova Friburgo region, natural disasters such as floods and landslides are no exception, but a recurring reality. They destroy homes, endanger lives and repeatedly tear families from their everyday lives.

People who already live in difficult conditions are particularly affected. They often lack the knowledge, preparation and functioning structures to be able to react quickly and in a coordinated manner in an emergency. This further exacerbates the consequences of disasters - and short-term crises become long-term burdens for entire communities.

How does humedica help?

humedica strengthens disaster preparedness directly on site. In a training center, volunteers, specialists and community members are prepared to act quickly and in a coordinated manner in the event of an emergency. At the same time, humedica helps communities to better understand risks and prepare for potential disasters. This creates structures that protect lives and enable rapid assistance.

Training on disaster preparedness and emergency measures

Training on first aid, emergency shelters and coordination
Rapid emergency aid in the event of a disaster (e.g. food, water, hygiene products)
Cooperation with local authorities and communities for better preparation

How you can help

With your donation, you are helping people in Brazil to be better prepared for disasters and not to be alone in the event of an emergency. You will help make training courses possible, provide important relief supplies and ensure rapid assistance after disasters. In this way, you are helping to protect lives and strengthen communities in the long term.

With 30 € you can finance an emergency aid kit with hygiene articles such as soap, toothbrushes and washcloths.
