The situation on site

The years-long drought is affecting the population in Somalia: millions of people are no longer able to provide themselves and their families with sufficient food. Large parts of the population are suffering from hunger. The youngest are particularly hard hit: many infants and children are struggling to survive every day. There is no apparent way out of the situation for the families - because the long-awaited rains are still not coming.
