Together with our partner ADKOUL, we are working to improve the situation. “We’re repairing the existing water supply system and connecting schools and health centers to it,” explains Hubrich. “We’re also building accessible latrines and providing
schools with supplies such as soap, brushes, and buckets.” Special attention is paid to ensuring that the drinking water systems and latrines are maintained over the long term. We also support people in finding ways to coexist when conflicts arise over water and grazing land.
