After years of war and displacement, much of Syria still lies in ruins. The consequences are still felt today, particularly in the northwest of the country. Millions of people there live under difficult conditions; many have had to flee their homes multiple times and find only makeshift shelter in camps or damaged buildings. Access to medical care, education, and social services is severely limited in many places.
In addition to material hardship, displacement, violence, and insecurity leave deep emotional scars. Children are growing up with fear and loss, and many families are under enormous pressure. This is often compounded by child labor, early marriages, and violence against women. At the same time, many areas lack support centers that can assist or counsel people in crisis situations.
Together with an experienced local partner, humedica supports children, adolescents, and adults in northwestern Syria. The goal is to empower people facing difficult life situations, provide them with protection, and open up new opportunities for them.
With your donation, you can provide protection, support, and new hope to children and families in Syria.
